Epilepsy Classroom
What is the Epilepsy Classroom?
- Located at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), the Epilepsy Classroom is a Section 23 classroom with the Ministry of Education for students in grades 1 through 8.
- The classroom is jointly run by the Toronto District School Board and the Neurosciences Program at SickKids.
- The classroom caters to the individual learning needs of children who have intractable Epilepsy, that is, persistent seizure activity despite maximal medical treatment. For more details, refer to the goals of the classroom.
